Dr. Dana Shumate started his practice so he could provide comprehensive dental care to his community. He enjoys spending time with each guest, creating a personalized treatment plan that suits their needs. He is also proud of his dental team, unsurpassed in quality of care.

A West Virginia University School of Dentistry graduate, Dr. Dana Shumate pursues extensive postdoctoral studies in clinical dentistry, focusing on cosmetic, implant, and family dentistry. He has presented research across the country, receiving recognition from the Hinman Dental Society and The American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists.

Dr. Shumate frequently takes advanced education classes at the prestigious Kois Institute in Seattle. He enjoys blending the art and science of dentistry to improve patients' smiles in his state-of-the-art dental office.

He removed my wisdom teeth & performed a descaling, & I knew I was in great hands. My recovery time was short & I’ve been feeling great ever since!
